At the ‘2022 Korea Environment/Energy Awards’ ceremony, G-ENONE ENERGY Co., Ltd. won the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s comprehensive grand prize, and Grex Co., Ltd. won the Ministry of Environment’s comprehensive grand prize. The Danseok Academic Award in the academic category was awarded to Park Jin-ho, vice president of Korea Energy Engineering University.


Organized by the Korea Energy Association (Chairman Han Seung-wook), the Korea Air Environment Association (Chairman Kim Jo-cheon), and Today Energy (issued by Kim Wan-jin), and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Science and ICT, the 2022 Korea Environment and Energy Awards was held at El Tower in Seoul on the 8th.

At the ceremony, a total of 16 companies were selected, including 8 for the Minister of Environment, Trade, and Energy Award, and 8 for the heads of environmental and energy public institutions, and 12 for the academic sector (7 for the Korea Energy Association and 5 for the Korean Air and Environment Association) were selected.


The overall grand prize (2 companies) was selected by G-ENONE ENERGY and Grex, who were honored with the Minister of Industry award and the Minister of Environment award, respectively.

G&One Energy, which won the grand prize from the Ministry of Industry, was recognized for contributing to the achievement of the national greenhouse gas reduction target by reducing heating and cooling energy costs in buildings and reducing dependence on fossil fuels by introducing advanced technology in the field of heating and cooling facility construction using domestic geothermal energy. received.

Grex, which won the overall grand prize from the Ministry of Environment, contributed to public health by providing a fine dust reduction solution optimized for each use of apartment houses, and drastically improved the problem of dust re-proliferation by developing and distributing central dust collection vacuum cleaning equipment for the first time in Korea. In addition, it was recognized for its efforts to lead the paradigm shift in the ventilation market by producing and distributing underfloor heating ventilation systems, and to supplement the shortcomings of air purifiers and improve economic feasibility and environmental performance by adding a cleaning function to built-in ventilation systems.

Seo-Bo, who won the Grand Prize in the Safety Division of the Ministry of Industry, contributed to the development of the gas industry, the advancement of the gas industry, and the safety management of gas facilities, while contributing to the development of the industry through thorough responsible construction. He was also credited with doing his best to expand gas facilities in the region, eradicate poor construction, and prevent gas accidents by promoting new technologies in gas construction and promoting education to prevent gas safety accidents.

Nungcool, which won the grand prize in the management sector of the Ministry of Industry, established and operated a gas safety management system, established an advanced gas supply system by computerizing the bulk supply system, and contributed to raising public awareness of safety.

In addition, it participated in the fuse cock distribution project, which is a major policy, and contributed to the improvement of domestic gas safety by replacing about 1,200 fuse cocks. In addition, it actively cooperated with the free improvement project of gas facilities for livelihood protection recipients such as the elderly living alone in Ansan City.

Kyungmin Watercom, which won the grand prize in the technology sector of the Ministry of Industry, secured the world's first low-temperature forced melting low-temperature and high-temperature purification technology in the manufacturing technology of urea solution for vehicles. significantly improved the failure rate.


GnG Technology, which won the Grand Prize in the Technology Division of the Ministry of Environment, was recognized for its contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and revitalizing the economy by successfully commercializing technology development through continuous research and development in the geothermal energy field.

Koreaacorona, which won the Environment Division Grand Prize of the Ministry of Environment, contributed to public health by suppressing various harmful substances emitted by combustion devices with specialized technology, and in particular, developed and distributed low-nox burners with minimal nitrogen oxide generation.

It also developed a technology to pyrolyze fine dust, mist, and odor emitted by various processes, and developed and widely distributed afterburners applied to coffee roasters to contribute to improving the atmospheric environment.

Copenhagen Offshore Partners Korea, which won the Environment Ministry's Management Award, is investing in and developing domestic offshore wind power projects to achieve Korea's 2050 carbon neutral goal and become a leading global offshore wind power country, and experts from Denmark have cooperated with domestic companies and institutions to pass on their business experiences and know-how.

In addition, Copenhagen Offshore Partners Korea was recognized for its contribution to establishing an industrial ecosystem such as supporting overseas expansion, establishing a domestic supply chain, and fostering local talent.
