The Korea DME Association (president Won-joon Cho) held a New Year's board meeting at Seoul Station Dowon on the 10th and unanimously approved the 2022 budget execution performance and the reappointment plan for executives.

At the Board of Directors meeting, President Won-joon Cho said in his greeting, “First of all, I would like to thank the executives who cooperated both physically and mentally so that the 「Asia-Pacific DME Forum」 held in Daejeon on October 27 last year could be successfully completed.

Subsequently, representatives of member companies such as Nambang CNA, Hyosung Energy, Mido Construction, Woori Plant, YM Remy, and Labsys Korea, who had newly joined the association, were introduced and asked for candid communication and cooperation for the development of the DME industry.

Subsequently, it recommended and resolved a plan for reappointment (2-year term) for directors (vice president) Young-geun Yang (CEO of Gasnews) and Yong-seung yoon (Vice President of the Institute for Advanced Study), whose terms of office expire in March of this year.

The 2023 regular general meeting was tentatively agreed to be held in Boeun (Songnisan), Chungbuk, along with the Korea-Japan DME Forum event in April. In addition, discussions continued on DME's industrial fueling, smart farm operation, county-level LPG piping network project, and application of highway rest areas, focusing on the recent status of BioFrance, the chairman, and the board of directors ended after luncheon.
